Rubber Compounder

Our client, a manufacturer and leader in their industry, is seeking an experienced Rubber Compounder to be located in their facility in South Central, NE.

Relocation assistance can be provided

The Rubber Compounder will provide technical support in the production of rubber to reduce and eliminate process variation. The primary focus of the position will be rubber compounding at our rubber extrusion and mixing facility which supplies rubber compounds for extrusion, calendaring, and other post processing operations.
This position will appeal to the Rubber Compounder who is seeking a position in a fast-paced environment, and who is looking for an opportunity to have a lasting impact on the efficiency and quality associated with an industry leading production operation.

Essential Job Functions for the Rubber Compounder:
Works with program coordinators to introduce new molding designs, tooling & processes into production
Develop and implement programs for improvement of the evaluation and improvement of production efficiencies.
The Rubber Compounder works with production management to design and implement changes and improvements.
Plan and supervise trials of new processes and new formulations.
Support manufacturing in trouble-shooting production problems
The Rubber Compounder provides technical support on all molding process activities in the specification, installation and commissioning of new process equipment.
Oversee assigned manufacturing and production projects.

Jobrequirements for the Rubber Compounder:
Bachelor’s Degree: Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
3+ years work experience in a rubber manufacturing environment
Must be US citizen. NO EXCEPTIONS
Experience in troubleshooting production processes.
